Community Fund a FreeWheel for Alex Axtell
"I am a 53 years old husband and father of two. Four years ago my doctors diagnosed me with Primary Progressive MS. In that time, I've gone from coaching tennis and snow team, biking daily, hiking, snowboarding, and shooting archery to working very hard just to get around. I still enjoy teaching middle school, practicing my artwork, playing with my family and dogs, gardening, and getting outdoors as much as possible.
I am motivated to earn this freewheel because it can help me continue to enjoy my favorite activities. I'm excited about this opportunity to raise awareness about adaptive recreation."
Alex will be participating in the LIMBitless Challenge 2018 at Table Rock. The FreeWheel will allow Alex to safely tackle the rough terrain of Table Rock with more ease.
We at The Steadfast Foundation want to help provide Alex a FreeWheel Wheelchair attachment, BUT we need your help! As a community let us all come together to spread the word and to raise the funds needed for Alex’s FreeWheel.
