Community Fund a FreeWheel for Bradley Wells
"My name is Bradley Wells I'm 28 years old and I'm a disabled veteran. I served in the US Air force as a security forces member and served at Camp Bucca Iraq in 2008 where I was a guard for prisoners of war and served there 8 months. I didn't get injured until 3 years after I served. I was a victim of a vehicular hit and run where I was left for dead for 5 hours before someone found me and called 911 I was in a coma for 10 days and I spent a total of 11 months in the hospital and had 18 surgeries I ended up losing my left leg above the knee due to MRSA and I have drop foot in my right leg and complex Regina pain syndrome as well as a broken left pelvic and nerve damage in both legs. I use a prothstetic at times but I walk with the aid of arm crutches because it's difficult for me to walk without them. I love lifting weights and playing wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis." - Bradley Wells
Bradley will be participating in the LIMBitless Challenge 2017 at Table Rock. The FreeWheel will allow Bradley to safely tackle the rough terrain of Table Rock with more ease.
We at The Steadfast Foundation want to help provide Bradley a FreeWheel Wheelchair attachment, BUT we need your help! As a community let us all come together to spread the word and to raise the funds needed for Bradley’s FreeWheel.
